February is a very popular month for k-drama star birthdays. Here are just a few of the k-drama celebrities that celebrate another year during the next four weeks.
February 2: "We Got Married" star Hong Jung Hyun has been busy since his last birthday. He appeared in two dramas, "Her Lovely Heels" and "Mama," as well as a drama special "The Reason I'm Getting Married." He was also in two films, "Alice" and "Police Family."
February 7: In 2014 Lee Joon made it known that he wanted to focus on his acting rather than his career performing with MBLAQ. He had roles in the dramas "Gap Dong" and "Mr. Baek" and in 2015 will appear in another drama, "I Heard It As A Rumor."
February 8: Baek Jin Hee also had a busy year. She played Ji Chang Wook's poisonous empress in "Empress Ki," Kim Jaejoong's casino dealer love in "Triangle" and a prosecutor in "Pride and Prejudice."
February 10: Choi Sooyoung of Girls Generation has added a star to her acting resume since her last birthday. She won praise for her bittersweet role in the transplant drama "Spring Days."
February 11: Go Ara turns 25 on this day. She was last seen playing Lee Seung Gi's love in the police drama "You're All Surrounded." This year she appears in two films: "Detective Hong Gil Dong" and "The Joseon Magician."
She shares her birthday with Hwang Chansung, the charismatic leader of 2PM. Beside touring with 2PM, the singer-actor appeared in two films in 2014, "Red Carpet" and "Dynamite Family." He is currently shooting the film "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" in China.
February 18: Park Shin Hye and Kang So Ra share this birthday. And that's one of the reasons the two became friends. Park Shin Hye recently played a reporter who could not lie in the drama "Pinocchio" and a fashionable queen in the film "The Royal Tailors."
Kang So Ra had roles in two successful dramas. She played the daughter of a hospital chairman in "Doctor Stranger" and the harried new office worker in the hit cable drama "Misaeng."
The actresses also share this birthday with popular "We Got Married" star Song Jae Rim. It was a breakout year for Song Jae Rim in 2014 Last year he appeared in the film "Tunnel 3D" as well as the dramas "Big Man," "Inspiring Generation," "Secret Love" and "The Idle Mermaid."
February 22: Daniel Choi was so bad it hurt when he played the chaebol in the 2014 drama "Big Man." But did you know he has been an anchorman on KBS World Radio for the past five years and that he's also a DJ on KBS2FM. He turns 29 this year.
February 23: Jung Yu Mi appeared in "Mother's Garden" last year and this year plays a noblewoman who becomes a maid in "The Maids." She is best known for playing Han Ji Min's bad half-sister in "Rooftop Prince."
February 24: Kang Gary has acted but he is best known for being a cast member on the popular variety show "Running Man." He did a cameo in 2014 as a taxi driver in "Emergency Couple." His "Running Man" cast mate Song Ji Hyo also appeared on the drama.
February 25: Han Ga In has not appeared in a film or drama since 2012, when she had roles in a hit drama, "The Moon Embracing The Sun" and a hit film "Architecture 101." She turns 33 this year.
February 27: Ji Sung is an actor who can play funny and darkly evil. He gets a chance to play both in his new drama "Kill Me, Heal Me" with his "Secret Love" co-star Hwang Jung Eum. That's because he plays a man with multiple personalities.
