Actor Song Kang Ho has a new role to play.

On January 10th, the movie company 'New' revealed that the actor was chosen to play a lawyer in the 80s, for this movie.

“The Lawyer” will be about a hard working lawyer in the 80s who fights for human rights. This movie will be directed by Yang Woo Suk, will show the justice system in South Korea.

The movie is still in the process of finding the cast, but it plans to start shooting in March and its aiming for a release in early 2014.

Song Kang Ho have starred in movies like "Thirst" "The Show Must Go On" "Memories of Murder" for which he has gotten a lot awards.
