The 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, had been hospitalized and remained in a coma five days after she was pulled from a bathtub, according to the NY Daily News.
Her father, Bobby Brown, will reportedly be the one making any decisions regarding his daughter, according to ET Online.
Doctors who were treating Bobbi Kristina have reportedly told her father that they’ve done all they can to save her life, according to FOX 411.
“It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it,” a source close to the family told the media outlet.
The insider added, “They’ve left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive.”
Before she was hospitalized, Bobbi Kristina was reportedly found submerged in the bathtub by her friend, Max Lomas, his lawyer stated.
“Max was actually the one that found her and he’s the one that removed her from bathtub and called 9-1-1, and Max is the one who began the process of hopefully helping her recover,” Lomas’ attorney, Philip Holloway stated.
He added, “He was terrorized. It was absolute pure panic, and he was frightened for his friend, his close friend who was not breathing and did not appear to show any signs of life. He’s petrified. And he wanted to get her the help that she’s so desperately needed at the time.”
Various media outlets have pointed out that Bobbi Kristina was found in an emergency that was reportedly similar to her mother’s drug-overdose related death. Whitney Houston was reportedly found in a Beverly Hills hotel room bathtub.
Bobbi Kristina was reportedly discovered several days before the third anniversary of the death of her mother.
“I think the biggest part of it is that this baby didn’t have the opportunity to mourn her mother,” Kelly Price told ET.
