‘Heroes Reborn’ Trailer: Zachary Levi And A New Character With Amazing Powers Makes Their Debut In New Teaser! [Video]

The "Heroes Reborn" trailer shown at the Super Bowl earlier this month excited the avid fans of the upcoming NBC series reboot. However, when the trailer was uploaded online, it included an extra shot of another confirmed cast member!

Zachary Levi previously announced his involvement in the mini-series last January.

"There are a few franchises I've always wanted to be a part of, and 'Heroes' is one of them," he told Entertainment Weekly earlier this month, adding how excited his new role.

NBC boss Bob Greenbalt also announced that fans can look forward to seeing "several of the old cast popping in to episodes."

Former "Heroes" stars, Zachary Quinto, Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden Panettiere and Ali Larter have all confirmed that they won't be reprising their power-wielding characters.

With that, the network made Zachary Levi's casting even more official by including him in the "Heroes Reborn" trailer released online. He will reportedly play a "key, yet undisclosed role" in the series. It is still unsure whether the "Chuck" star will be a "normal" human or a gifted individual in the series.

The clip also included a first look of returning cast member Noah Bennet a.k.a. Horn Rimmed Glasses or HRG. Whether the two stars are working together or against each other is still a mystery.

Another mystery surrounding the new series, or at least the teaser, is the person manipulating the Aurora. If anything, the short 15-second clip promises to give its audience the same superpower induced episodes that it delivered in the past, if not more.

"Heroes Reborn" will be composed of 13 episodes.

Show creator Tim Kring promised to "tie into some of the ideas that were left dangling" in the last episode of "Heroes."

No exact date has been set for the show's release yet. What are you looking forward to the most for the reboot series?
