British megastar Ed Sheeran has made a name for himself with his unlikely covers. His latest hit song remake is an extra special yet strange surprise. The "Thinking Out Loud" singer recently stopped by the BBC Radio 1Xtra Lounge to perform an improvised version of the viral sensation "I'm In Love With The CoCo" by O.T. Genasis. Watch the impressive cover and read more about the performance below!

According to the official BBC Radio 1Xtra YouTube page, "Ed Sheeran gives Trevor Nelson a visit and performs an impromptu performance of I'm In love with the Coco" in the video above.

Sheeran improvised his way through the song, smiling as he delivered the uncharacteristic lyrics. The "Lego House" singer also tweaked some of the lyrics to deliver a cleaner version of the song. He does such a good job that its difficult to discern the initial subject of the hit record!

"Sounds like he is going to make the best cake ever 'I got baking soda I got baking soda,'" adds BBC Radio 1Xtra as they refer to the song's lyrics.

Who knew the explicit rap song could be turned into a soulful guitar jam? If anyone could do it, Ed Sheeran's the man!

Sheeran also recorded another interesting cover while visiting the BBC Radio Live Lounge. Covering "Dirrty" by Christina Aguilera and Redman, Ed once again delivers a fresh and funky song with his signature touch - despite the unexpected lyrics! You can watch the viral cover below.

So, what's the verdict, Sheeranators? Which cover wins? Do you prefer Ed's take on O.T. Genasis' "I'm In Love With The CoCo" or Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty"? Sound off in the comments section below!
