On April 23, EBN published a report which presented the Lotte Duty Free 2015 Model Lineup. Actors Cha Seung Won and Park Hae Jin were selected to represent Lotte Duty Free in 2015, replacing Jang Geun Suk and Kim Hyun Joong.

The models represent artists who have demonstrated significance in the Hallyu Wave and have a strong presence in Japan, China and Southeast Asia.

Actors Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Min Ho, Cha Seung Won and Park Shin Hye are prominently featured at the center of the photo.

Park Hae Jin debuted in 2006 but was best known as Shin Myung Hoon in the 2008 drama, "East of Eden." He experienced an upswing in his career with his second male lead role in the Hallyu hit, "My Love From The Star." He followed the success of the series with a starring role in "Doctor Stranger," opposite Lee Jong Suk, Jin Se Yeon and Kang Sora.

Cha Seung Won has an extensive film and television career but his 2014 K-Drama role in "You're All Surrounded" placed him back into the small screen spotlight. He is currently starring as Prince Gwanghae in the MBC period series, "Splendid Politics."

“Temptation” star Choi Ji Woo has also returned to the campaign. She has been a strong force in promoting Korean food to international audiences, particularly through her show “Choi Ji Woo’s Delicious Korea.”

EXO, Super Junior and 2PM have returned to the roster, as exemplary figures in Korean pop.

Lotte Duty Free models serve as ambassadors for the company, welcoming foreign tourists to shop within the stores. The spokesmodels are generally selected from K-pop, K-Drama and Korean beauty but there is now an increased emphasis on fashion, as well as, food.

The removal of Kim Hyun Joong from the campaign comes on the heels of recent physical abuse allegations involving his unidentified ex-girlfriend.

In 2014, Jang Geun Suk was at the center of an alleged tax scandal. This led to his departure from “Three Meals A Day: Fishing Village” in January 2015.
