In theory, new technology will allow Bobbi Kristina Brown to stay at the facility where she's rehabbing "essentially forever." Meanwhile, Nick Gordon is still barred from seeing his rumored wife after stepping out of rehab.
Dr. Mark Liker, a neurosurgeon at Dignity Health Northridge Hospital, told Extra TV that Bobbi Kristina Brown could be on a medically induced coma without her health compromised.
The doctor, who has not treated Bobbi Kristina Brown, explained, "I'm sure there is a feeding tube that provides her with adequate nutrition, and a nutritionist that's ensuring that she is getting the right calories and nutrients."
"I don't know where she stands right now. If she is not able to respond, then the physical therapy is usually performed on a regular basis and it is limited to range of motion exercises, so they will move her arms and legs just so her legs and arms don't go into a permanent contraction," he added.
" Also, I think it is good to continually or frequently send impulses from the legs to the brain just to keep the brain as responsive as possible, and that could potentially give her better function over time, better recovery," the medical expert added.
Bobby Brown earlier petitioned the court for guardianship of Bobbi Kristina Brown's $20 million inheritance amid conficting reports of her medically induced coma. While the singer claimed that his daughter is already awake, there's no confirmation yet on that regard from Whitney Houston's family.
Meanwhile, Nick Gordon is still living with mom, Michelle Gordon, after his rehab stint as he still couldn't see Bobbi Kristina Brown in the facility, said People.
"He is very distraught over what is going on. He really wants to see her. He is upset about a lot of things: her being sick, him never getting respect [from her family]," the source claimed.
Bobbi Kristina Brown's aunt, Leolah Brown, earlier pointed the blame on Nick Gordon for putting her niece on a medically induced coma.
