Oh My Ghost

Comedienne Kim Seul Gi has joined the main cast of the upcoming tvN drama, "Oh My Ghost." On May 8, MBN Star reported the casting decision. "Kim Seul Gi was cast in 'Oh My Ghost,' said a representative for tvN. "She will play Shin Soon Ae, a virginal ghost that has been possessed by a demon."

Soon Ae is a key character in the series. She is the ghost that inhabits the body of Na Bong Sun, a sous chef with low self esteem and few friends. Park Bo Young (A Werewolf Boy) portrays Bong Sun. "Oh My Ghost" serves as her first K-Drama role since the 2008 SBS series, "Star's Lover."

Jo Jung Suk will portray Kang Sun Woo, a top chef. Bong Sun has a crush on Sun Woo but he is hopelessly in love with his ex-girlfriend. Bong Sun and Sun Woo are polar opposites but he becomes attracted to her once she is possessed by a ghost.

Kim is one of the main cast members of the sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live Korea (SNL Korea). She is a Busan native, who is known for incorporating her accents into skits.

She has excelled with supporting roles in K-Dramas including "Flower Boy Next Door" and "The Idle Mermaid." In 2014, she stepped into a more prominent role as Yoon Sol, the romantic furniture maker who established an adorable relationship with Do Joon Ho (Yoon Hyun Min). Her noteable film roles include her portrayal of Deok Soo's sister, Kkeut Soon, in the 2014 melodrama "Ode to My Father."

Yang Hee Seung is the screenwriter of "Oh My Ghost," whose previous projects include the 2014 breakout hit "High School: King of Savvy." Yang Hee Seung will reunite with director Yoon Je Won for the series.

"Oh My Ghost" will premiere in July 2015, in the time slot currently occupied by "Ex-Girlfriend Club."
