Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston's Family Now Co-Guardians Of Bobbi Kristina Brown As Latest Condition Update Seems Glum

Bobby Brown won the petition to become the legal guardian of Bobbi Kristina Brown although she would have to share that privilege with Pat Houston. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old's condition has not progressed at all contrary to the claim of Whitney Houston's former husband that she's already awake.

"The court ruling means Whitney's sister-in-law and Bobby will now share responsibility for 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina's medical care. Bobby filed a petition last month to become her legal guardian," said TMZ.

"The court also appointed an attorney -- Bedelia Hargrove -- as conservator, and she will control all financial and legal matters for Bobbi Kristina ... who is now breathing on her own. Whitney's family points out she's suffered 'global and irreversible brain damage,'" it said.

Meanwhile, Cissy Houston claimed that there's no progress on Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition despite Bobby Brown's previous claims that she's awake. However, multiple reports alleged that she's no longer on medically induced coma.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Whitney Houston's mother said that they are already preparing themselves for the worst.

She said, "She's the same, she's not progressing at all. She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her... I have nothing to do with that. That's His job. It's His territory, you know? And I understand it."

Bobbi Kristina was placed on medically induced coma after she was found face down in a bathtub in the home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon last Jan 31.

On the co-guardianship for Bobbi Kristina Brown while she's not out of the woods yet, Cissy Houston said, "We're a family...that works together for the best. You want the best for whomever or everybody we can...We can be on the other side too if you make us be but we are not going to do that. There's no reason for that. That's why I'm concerned. So, that's the end of that."
