So Ji Sub delivered a cameo performance, as a frustratingly lazy coffee shop owner, for the first episode of "Warm and Cozy." He incorporated the dismissive hand gestures of his "Master's Sun" character into his scene with Kang Sora.

His appearance on "Warm and Cozy" reunited the 37-year-old actor with the Hong Sisters. He previously worked with the sibling duo on "Master's Sun," the 2013 supernatural series which also starred Gong Hyo Jin.

The production company easily welcome his cameo appearance, which spans 2 episodes. According to a report by eNews, his cameo will leave a lasting impression on the series. "Although it′s a short appearance, it′ll leave a strong impression, so look forward to So Ji Sub in the drama," said a representative for the production company, Bon Factory.

His cameo for the series follows his appearance as King Jeongjo in the historic period film, "The Throne." The highly anticipated movie stars Song Kang Ho, Yoo Ah In and Moon Geun Young. The film examines the tragic story of Crown Prince Sado, whose life ended when he was imprisoned by his father.

So Ji Sub has not appeared in a major acting role since "Master's Sun." In 2014, delivered a supporting role in the Line TV web drama, "One Sunny Day." Netizens have noted that his scenes for "One Sunny Day" were filmed in the same Jeju Island cafe that is featured in "Warm and Cozy."

"Warm and Cozy" focuses on the simplicity of life on Jeju Island. The first episode included scenes which depicted the legendary Jeju Island diving women and sweeping shots of the shores. Yoo Yeon Seok (Reply 1994) stars in the series as Baek Geon Woo, an attractive restauranteur and hopeless romantic. Kang Sora portrays Lee Jung Joo, a woman who is extremely practical but has lost everything which was significant in her life.

Directed by Park Hong Kyun, "Warm and Cozy" airs on MBC on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 p.m. KST.
