Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung returned to Korea in February 2015, following a period where they had relocated to California. The couple remained away from Korea for 3 months of Lee Min Jung's pregnancy.
In September 2014, the 44-year-old actor was shrouded in controversy when he became the subject of a blackmail scandal involving former GLAM member Dahee and Lee Ji Yeon. He was allegedly blackmailed by the K-pop idol and model for large sums of money, in order to prevent the leak of a video where the film star was alleged to make inappropriate comments. He issued an apology to his family, following the sentencing of the two women.
On March 2015, his wife gave birth to their first child, following 3 years of marriage.
While the couple has returned to Korea, they maintain a busy travel schedule. Lee Byung Hun is one of few Korean actors who has successfully transitioned to acting in Hollywood productions. He stars as T-1000 in the upcoming science fiction release "Terminator Genisys" and the pre-production film, "The Magnificent Seven."
