British singer FKA Twigs has endured a lot by dating Robert Pattinson, including racist comments, but she will continue to endure some more because of her "amazing relationship" with the "Twilight" actor.
In an interview with Complex magazine, she talked about the time when T-Pain slipped that FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson are already engaged.
"It's fine, I'm a pretty chill person, do you know what I mean? If you can't touch it, it's not real," she said.
FKA Twigs also revealed that she was bullied and harassed by some of Robert Pattinson's fans, and some of the attacks had racial undertones.
"It is pretty horrible. But ultimately, I'm in an amazing relationship. So it doesn't matter," she added.
She also said as much during her interview with New York Times, where she also talked about her upcoming "Congregata" concert, FKA Twigs admitted that it's quite difficult to date somebody when the paparazzi are hounding all their moves.
"[It's really hard - I can't begin to explain how awful it is. It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror," she said.
People unfamiliar with her as an underground artist have branded FKA Twigs of dating Robert Pattinson to promote her own career. And being biracial, the racial attacks on Twitter and Instagram have been "relentless."
"There's no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I'm not a monkey," she said.
FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson were also rumored to be rushing their wedding after they allegedly got engaged during the Coachella 2015. Aside from the the harassments, the British singer was also rumored to be pregnant.
But all that comes with the territory in dating Robert Pattinson as FKA Twigs said, "I didn't see my life going this way at all. But it's worth it. I'm so happy...Nothing can impale my work or make me choose not to say things a certain way or make an image the way I want."
