On June 7, SBS' "Running Man" revealed that Jo In Sung and Song Joong Ki were special guests for an upcoming episode. The actors and real-life friends were recently spotted by Korean netizens, as they boarded a flight from Incheon International Airport, with Lee Kwang Soo.
Jo and Song will appear alongside Im Joo Hwan for the June 14 episode, which will also other special appearances. Celebrity couple Son Joon Ho and Kim So Hyun will be joined by Byul, who is married to "Running Man" fixed cast member, Haha.
This will mark the third special for Song Joong Ki, who was a regular cast member on the popular variety show from episode one through 41.
The Hallyu actor was recently returned from mandatory military service.The 29-year-old star departed from Korean entertainment on a high note, with his first leading role in the 2012 series, "The Innocent Man" and the breakout box-office hit, "A Werewolf Boy." Song will make his K-Drama comeback in the series, "Descendants of the Sun," opposite Song Hye Kyo. He portrays the leader of a peacekeeping unit, who falls in love with an army surgeon.
Jo In Sung most recently appeared in the hit psychological series, "It's Okay, That's Love," opposite Gong Hyo Jin.
Their special appearances follow the June 7 episode which featured the members of Big Bang. Big Bang is currently promoting their comeback album "MADE," which is being released each month through singles. On June 1, the K-pop quintet released "A," which featured the hit tracks "Bang Bang Bang" and "We Like 2 Party."
"Running Man" airs on Sundays as part of SBS' Good Sunday lineup.
