The latest “Bones” season 11 spoilers revealed that viewers will get to see Brennan’s (Emily Deschanel) replacement on the highly anticipated premiere. It was said that the episode will be very similar to the season 7 premiere, in which Brennan was replaced by Cam (Tamara Taylor) when she left the Jeffersonian.

According to "Bones" season 11 spoilers from TV Line, executive producer Stephen Nathan shared that Brennan will meet her replacement in the season premiere. When asked if it was someone the viewers already know, Nathan said that he could not reveal the details as the casting is not yet finalized.

It has been rumored that Brennan and Booth will return to the Jeffersonian because of the unwatched Pelant tape. Nathan said that although this could be a possibility, the writers are trying to come up with unique storylines to make the next episodes even more interesting.

"To bring them back, it would have been a rerun of the other episode we did where everybody was called back to help Cam. We just wanted this to be different and based on their relationship rather than some kind of goofy plot twist."

The showrunner, however, hinted that viewers can look forward to several new cast members in the forthcoming episodes. He mentioned that many "Bones" fans have taken quite an interest in the life of the squinterns. This encouraged the writers to give some of them more air time come season 11.

"We just have to be very agile. We have to be ready to move at the drop of a hat with the interns because they are so popular and rightfully so," he told TV Line.

"Often times during the season, we have to write somebody out, somebody in, because they're doing other things. So there's always the potential for new people coming [in]. And also from looking at our locations a little bit differently and adding people."
