Actor Joo Jin Mo will make a big screen comeback in the sequel movie “Friends 2”

On march 27th, the actor's agency Fantasio, revealed that the actor has been cast as the leading role of the movie playing the role of Lee Cheol Soo. Lee Cheol Soo is the father of Lee Joon Suk (Yoo Oh Sung). Lee Cheol Soo will be a leader of a gang in the 1960s.

About his casting, the actor commented, “I am happy and glad to work with director Kwak Kyung Taek again after 6 years. This movie is not just a movie about gangs but it will show the personality of each character. This is a movie people should look forward to.”

The movie will be directed by Kwak Kyung Taek again, and already has cast Yoo Oh Sung as the role he played back in 2001, and Kim Woo Bin who will play the role of Jang Dong Gun.

“Friends 2” is the sequel to the 2001 movie starring Yoo Oh Sung, Jang Don Gun, Seo Tae Hwa, Un-Taek Jung, and Kim Bo Kyung. The movie take on after Lee Joon Suk (Yoo Oh Sung) is released from prison, and will talk about boys in 1963 and boy in 2013, as it will alternate between those two years.

The movie will start filming once the complete cast is confirmed.
