The WWE has selected 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin to be the cover star for its upcoming "WWE 2K16" video game, but does this mean he will make an appearance at WrestleMania 32?

During E3 in Los Angeles recently, a list of first six WWE Superstars and divas slated to appear in "WWE 2K16" was revealed.

Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Bad News Barrett, Paige and Finn Bálor were confirmed for "WWE 2K16." The character art for each superstar was revealed on WWE's official website. There was no word on the Stone Cold mode; however it was revealed that "The Texas Rattlesnake" has been unveiled as the cover star of the upcoming "WWE K216" video game.

MTV UK caught up with "The Texas Rattlesnake" and asked him of his thoughts on being "WWE 2K16" newest cover athlete, Steve right away noted, "First of all I'm very honoured to be the cover superstar for WWE 2K16."

"And being asked got me thinking - and I guess I kind of started looking back at all the things I managed to accomplish in the business.

"But I think it was testament to a very deep locker room in one the best eras in the business. All these years later, it is very special and I'm very proud and I was very happy to get the phone call to be the cover star of such a highly-regarded video games franchise," Austin added.

Later in the interview, Stone Cold set the record straight by noting that he is not planning on suiting up once again, even on WrestleMania 32. However, he admitted that he might make an appearance on the "Grandest Stage of Them All" but he will not be on action.

"I would put myself on the same level for the wrestling/sports entertainment industry as Jordan - but his appearance didn't mean he was going to put the uniform on again," Austin said.

"So I would go on record: don't look forward to me putting on the trunks and knee braces to get back in the ring and stomp a mudhole in somebody and walking it dry. How's that work for you?"

With the new "WWE 2K16," WWE plans to surpass its predecessors by having the biggest roster ever. The franchise will try to bring in more than 106 WWE Superstars to outmatch WWE 13 which featured 106 playable characters.

Last year's edition only featured 83 playable wrestlers, the least of all the WWE simulation games. "WWE 2K14" showcased 103 playable wrestlers.
