WWE's rising star Kevin Owens wants to face "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar at next year's WrestleMania in Dallas.
Kevin Owens has been one of the most entertaining WWE Superstars since his main roster call up on WWE television. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and several WWE legends including Mick Foley, have given Owens high praise.
That being said, it's no surprise that WWE's top decision-makers are completely behind Owens as well.
While the WWE Universe speculate who Owens will feud once his program with John Cena ends at SummerSlam, there are talks hinting that Cesaro would be Ownes' next target, others have suggested someone like Dean Ambrose. No doubt, both of these superstars would be fantastic opponents for Owens.
The most important question; however is who will Owens face at next year's WrestleMania 32?
Owens recently made an appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con and did an interview with Mick Foley's daughter, Noelle Foley. Talking about who he would like to face at WrestleMania, Owens had only one name on his mind: "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar.
"There are so many but I think I would be partial to Brock Lesnar. I can't even say [I can beat him] myself but it would sure be fun trying," Owens said.
Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens is without a doubt a match that wrestling fans would want to see, and of course it's a WrestleMania-caliber match. Citing that Lesnar is WWE's biggest baby face right now and Owens is arguably the company's biggest heel, the match totally makes sense on paper, Inquisitr noted.
Strong rumors doing rounds hint that Owens could end up facing The Undertaker at the upcoming WrestleMania 32, which would be The Phenom's retirement match. This match too makes sense, but WWE likely has someone else in mind for The Undertaker.
If another rumor doing rounds is anything to go by, Vince McMahon already has his top six WrestleMania matches planned. Owens is reportedly involved in one of the six, and Lesnar vs. Owens could very well be McMahon's plan.
WrestleMania 32 will be the first one for WWE's rising star, Kevin Owens who has secured a spot as a top heel. Since Lesnar is in a face role, it's quite possible that the match could happen at some point in the near future, however there's no confirmation that it would be at WrestleMania 32, according to reports on What Culture.
Owens also stated that it would be cool for his son to play with his first action figure that will be released later this year. Noelle pointed out how much her dad Mick Foley liked Kevin especially as a wrestler with a bigger body type just like he had.
