Various angles of the Josh Duggar scandal has been reported by the tabloids over the past few weeks.
It is unsurprising that the "19 Kids And Counting" family is much affected by the scandal. The controversy has led some to criticize how Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar handled Josh Duggar's alleged molestation of five minors, including some of his sisters, when he was a teen.
Amid all the negative attention directed towards the Duggar family in the wake of the sex scandal, one person close to Josh Duggar may be the most affected of all - his pregnant wife, Anna.
Many fans have been worried over the how the scandal may have caused Anna to feel stressed and pressured during the last months of her pregnancy with their fourth child.
According to Inquisitr, Anna has been past her due date and the Duggar family is seeking for prayers for her safe delivery. Aside from Anna, Josh's sister Jessa Duggar-Seewald is also pregnant and is reportedly due to give birth in November. Jessa is one of the Duggar sisters who admitted to having been victimized by Josh's molestation years ago.
"Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date! First time she has ever gone 'late' instead of early!" the Duggar family wrote in a post in their official Facebook page. "Here she is with our Jessa. Be praying for these girls. Pretty soon we will get to kiss the sweet face of another Duggar grandbaby!"
Meanwhile, many fans have noticed Josh Duggar being absent from a photo taken at the celebration of their cousin Amy's engagement to boyfriend Dillon King, according to Radar Online.
The Duggars posted a photo of a get-together they hosted for Amy, captioned: "We are so excited for our niece Amy Duggar and Dillon King on getting engaged."
There are speculations that the "19 Kids And Counting" family is consciously making it a point not to attract too much public attention towards Josh Duggar in order to hush down the molestation scandal.
"Josh and cousin Amy are actually the closest in age and grew up together," a source reportedly said. "They are close. If the scandal hadn't come to light I have no doubt he would have been happily posing in the group photo."
