After the controversies brought by Josh Duggar's molestation scandal, a new development has surely brought happiness to the reality TV family - Anna Duggar's safe delivery of their fourth baby.

According to E! News, Josh Duggar proudly announced the birth of his and Anna Duggar's baby girl on Instagram.

"Announcing the arrival of Meredith Grace Duggar -- 7lbs 14 ozs, 20-1/2in -- Anna and Meredith are resting & doing well!" The eldest Duggar sibling captioned a photo of him with Anna and baby Meredith.

The Duggar family has recently appealed for prayers for Anna Duggar a few days ago, who was past her due date.

"Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date! First time she has ever gone "late" instead of early!" The Duggar family posted on their official Facebook page, along with a photo of Anna and Jessa Duggar-Seewald who is also pregnant and is due to give birth in June. "Here she is with our Jessa. Be praying for these girls. Pretty soon we will get to kiss the sweet face of another Duggar grandbaby!!!"

Hollywood Life mentioned that Josh and Anna Duggar have three other kids: Mackynzie Renée, Marcus Anthony, and Michael James.

Anna Duggar's safe delivery of their newest baby may have been the breath of fresh air the family has been waiting for especially after TLC announced the cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting" in the wake of the Josh Duggar sex scandal.

TLC has announced that they will be producing a documentary special about child abuse and the project will reportedly include Jill and Jessa, who were reportedly among Josh's victims. The Duggars said they are ready to coordinate with TLC for the project.

"Years ago, when we were asked to film our first one hour documentary about the logistics of raising 14 children, we felt that it was an opportunity to share with the world that children are a blessing and a gift from God," Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar said in their official statement about the cancellation of "19 Kids And Counting."
