On July 24, SBS revealed that Miss A's Suzy (Bae Suzy) would provide the theme song for Ha Ji Won in the weekend drama, "The Time We Were Not in Love."

According to a report published by the Korean outlet, Sports Chosun, the Miss A member and actress will lend her voice to the original soundtrack with the song, "Why is This." The vocals provided by Suzy will serve as the theme for female protagonist Oh Ha Na (Ha Ji Won), as she embarks on her journey towards finding true love.

A representative for SBS described "Why Is This," in a statement published by the broadcast company. "Sung by Suzy, 'Why is This' is a midtempo ballad, with lyrics that represent the heroine Hana's heart," said a spokesperson for SBS. "We expect that Suzy's clear and pure voice will affect viewers."

Suzy recently made headlines as a potential female lead for the upcoming series, "Cheese in the Trap." Her casting in the series sparked controversy from fans of the webtoon, who did not wish to see the acting idol in the main female role.

It was previously announced that Suzy was in consideration for "The Time Were Were Not in Love" soundtrack, but details about her contribution to the compilation were not revealed.

Based on the Taiwanese drama, "In Time with You," "The Time We Were Not in Love" stars Ha Ji Won as Oh Ha Na, a 34-year-old career woman who struggles to maintain her foothold in the workplace, while attempting to find a life partner. She spends her free time with Choi Won (Lee Jin Wook), her best friend of 17 years, who is also 34-years-old and unlucky in love. As the friends grow closer, their relationship is threatened by the return of Cha Seo Hoo (Yoon Gyun Sang), a classical pianist who abandoned Ha Na during their engagement.
