"The Walking Dead" season 6 spoilers revealed that fans can expect several new characters to join the cast when the AMC series returns. Melissa McBride, who plays Carol in the series, reveals some major hints about what is going to happen in the show.
"There's so much stuff going on. They're topping last year, I can tell you that," she told Entertainment Weekly.
"As far as mindset, there's a lot of things going on in different story arcs and different characters coming in that are really pitting the characters against their own selves as far as, you know, where they stand."
The actress added that there will be conflicts between the survivors when "The Walking Dead" returns for season 6.
"We've all just been around ourselves. We're all kind of doing the same things," she shared.
"But there's other people with different points of view coming in that are challenging those things. But where do you put it? How do you sit with it? That's one of the things that's also happening. It's a crazy ride."
Meanwhile, Norman Reedus (Daryl) also confirmed that season 6 is going to be very different than what fans saw in the previous seasons. He shared that since the environment is different, as they were no longer fighting for survival in the wild, their priorities started to shift.
"Season 6 is much different than the previous seasons," he told Entertainment Weekly.
"It's kind of our group being okay with stability and fighting stability and figuring out if we can actually live with other people."
"You've taken a bunch of wild animals and put them in a domestic environment, and some of them prefer to be wild animals, and some of them can't figure out how to be anything other than that. So we've come to a place where we can live with the public or live in a community and us having inner turmoil with trying to discover if that's possible at all."
