The notorious restaurant by Amy's Baking Company that had once featured on Fox reality show "Kitchen Nightmares" has been shut down.

According to Laist.com, the episode featuring Amy's restaurant located at 7366 East Shea Boulevard had become famous for its beckoning acts, including screaming at the customers and pocketing tips from the employees. Even reality TV chef Gordon Ramsey of "Kitchen Nightmares" had reportedly walked out of the restaurant.

The Arizona Republic reported that the company in Scottsdale had finally shut its doors last week. They reportedly said that even the phone number listed for the restaurant appeared to be disconnected.

In July, Amy Bouzaglo, the co-owner of Amy Baking Company which featured on " Kitchen Nightmares" said that she and her husband were in the process of making the final negotiations to sell the property.

Amy also said that she was planning to make desserts for other local restaurants alongside making her own instructional cooking videos.

Press Herald stated that Amy's decision had little to do with the media firestorm that ensued after the show. The couple reportedly said that they were planning to move out due to their disputes with the former landlord. The fuss was over some weird odors which were apparently coming from the shopping center they were located in.

After the "Kitchen Nightmares" episode featuring Amy's Baking Company had been aired in 2013, the Yelp justice took over. The people slammed the restaurant by giving them 1-star reviews. Comments had flooded their restaurant's Facebook page, which had garnered irate responses from a hacker. However, they were back to 3 stars in July '15.

In the beginning of September '15, Amy's Baking Co had tweeted a "The End" photo. They had captioned it as "Or is it just the beginning? #amysbakingcompany," probably hinting towards the couple's new business venture.

According to the Pheonix New Times, the couple had planned to sell their deserts online. They had even planned to build up a Commissary in Gold Canyon for their new undertaking.

The owners have declined to comment on the shutdown of Amy's Baking Company which had once featured on Gordon Ramsey's "Kitchen Nightmare."
