An 'Amber Alert' was raised for Lucien Tripplett when he was with his dad at the parking lot of the Albertson's parking lot on Coburg Road, Eugene, Oregon. The incident took place around 8:30 pm on Saturday when he was forcefully taken away by a woman assisted by another man.
The Amber Alert was raised in Eugene on Sunday at 7:44 am for a man and a woman with a kid in a green sedan with license plate 323-GLU.
The woman was identified as Dana Morgan 34, who forcefully abducted her own child assisted by her boyfriend, James Gresham, 44. Morgan was one of the few thousands who received the Amber Alert on her cell phone. A little later after receiving the alert she called the police and turned herself in. Apparently she had no custodial rights for the child.
KGW.com reported that the boy returned to his father unharmed and is in safe custody. So far no charges have been pressed and an investigation is ongoing. However, the Amber Alert for missing Eugene child was cancelled reported KOIN.com.
In yet another case, a girl was missing from Vermont and an Amber Alert was raised in New York, Democrat and Chronicle reported. Kaleyia Hardy was taken from the Fayston, Vermont, home of her biological grandmother, Dawn Hutchinson on Friday afternoon.
The man and woman were identified as Joel Rosenthal 61 and Hutchinson 47 who abducted the child when Vermont Department for Children and Families "attempted to take custody of the child. Kaleyia was found safe and unharmed and is in the protective custody of New York authorities.
Amber Alert is also known as America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response or Child Abduction Emergency services saved two children and help them return safely to their parents or relevant authorities.
