The Late Show hosted by comedian host Stephen Colbert invited Scarlett Johansson as his first guest to debut for his segment "Big Questions with Even Bigger Stars," reported People. The two lay on a carpet under the stars to ponder upon life's most important questions. Whether the carpet was actually under the stars or in the studio was left to audiences' imagination.
Both the guest and the host took turns are asking questions about life in general and random things like "You think there's a difference between living and being alive?", "Would you rather have feet for hands or hands for feet?" Johansson also asked Colbert the most sought question "What do you think Oprah is doing right now?" to which he replied, "She's probably talking to Gayle in a secret language," reported the Washington Post.
Scarlette Johansson seemed extremely excited to be on the show and mentioned several times that she flew from her residence in Paris to do the interview. Scarlett was at her best appearance in a leather-looking black sleeveless top with wide-legged black trousers. However, she mentioned that French women are more fashionable that she could profess to be.
Scarlette also confessed that she had totally fallen in love with her husband's city and every day she goes down and takes walks down the streets of Paris. She mentioned that she is learning to speak French but sticks to speaking in English so that she can win arguments with her advertising executive husband, said the Daily Mail UK.
"The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" premiered to a whopping 6.6 million viewers Tuesday night. It got a reality check when the viewer clocked down to more pedestrian 3.7 million viewers. It was given a tough competition by Fallon's "Tonight Show" (4 million viewers), said NY Post.
