Chris Brown has every reason to celebrate life. Chris Brown has been given joint custody of his daughter, Royalty.
Chris Brown is finally happy as he has been awarmded joint custody of daughter Royalty along with Nia Guzman. The singer had flown to Houston, Texas where the judge gave a verdict in his favour and granted the 'Loyal' singer the joint custody of his daughter.
To share his excitement with his millions of fans, Chris Brown shared an image on social media with his lawyer, from the courthouse. In the picture, the singer looks thrilled after he won his case against Nia Guzman, his former lover.
Nia Guzman had filed a case in court asking to give only supervised visitation rights for Royalty. However, a judge awarded split custodial rights to both Nia and Chris. The joint custody means that now Royalty will be splitting her time between her parents every four days.
The judge even ordered that Nia should not discuss about the case on social media sites. Moreover, she is also refrained from bad mouthing about Chris Brown.
According to TMZ, Chris was represented by his lawyer Mark Geragos and was informed that he has to pay $2,500 every month to support Royalty. But Nia wanted to bump this monthly payment to $15,000, which was denied by the court. After Nia's request got declined for the raise in monthly payment, Brown tweeted:
According to the Mirror, both Chris and Nia are now living in Los Angeles to work things out and do what's best for Royalty.
The 26-years-old singer has remained very active in Royalty's life. He even named his next record after her.
"My new album will be named 'Royalty'," Brown tweeted.
