The English heavy metal band return to the stage in 2016 for an extensive series of dates, with the first show in China.
After the Bruce Dickinson's successful treatment from the cancer, Iron Maiden have stipulate that their world tour would be the last part of the band's 'Book of Souls' campaign. The metal band have announced the first run of dates for their 2016 world tour, which will start in the USA in February.
According to The Guardian, only nine dates have been confirmed so far. Iron Maiden's 'Book of Souls' world tour will arrive in Mexico, El Salvador, and Costa Rica in March before Ed Force one - Bruce Dickinson's Boeing 747-400 Jumbo Jet will fly into South America for their concerts in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, and then back to USA at the end of March and then to Canada.
According to Iron Maiden's official website, the band will perform in Japan, and then the band will perform their first show in China, then to New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.
"This will the first time Ed Force One has ever been used on any European Tour dates (other than Bruce's Fan Club trips to shows) and will give transport there for at least for the first few weeks," a statement on their website read.
Iron Maiden's 'Book of Souls' is currently at No. 1 in the UK chartbuster. The album follows their frontman's battle against tongue cancer details that were discussed in a recent interview with the Guardian.
"Hell would have to freeze over before you could not get me on that stage," Bruce explained.
"Even if somebody else had to sing and all I could do is run around and wave my arms. But I don't think that's going to be the case. I was having a good sing-song yesterday and thinking, 'Ooh, that's sounding pretty good, actually.'"
