"The Black Keys" Drummer Patrick Carney said Jack White, who had apologized for his nasty remarks about the band had attacked him in a New York bar on a Sunday night.
According to The Independent, there had been an ongoing feud between "The Black Keys" and "Jack White" which seemed to have come to an end last year. Reports said that the former "White Stripes" singer had apologized for his inappropriate comments about the band's music.
Recently, "The Black Keys" drummer Patrick Carney had claimed that Jack had tried to fight him. Reportedly, the two had shared a series of tweets that had been wiped off the internet. Carney had labeled Jack as a "40-year-old bully" and "Billy Corgan's dumb ass zero T-shirt in human form."
"I've never met jack white," "The Black Keys" drummer tweeted. He wrote, "Until last night. He came to a bar in Nyc I go to a lot with a few friends and tried to fight me. I don't fight and don't get fighting but he was mad!!!"
When asked about the altercations, Jack told EW that he did not fight "The Black Keys" drummer Patrick Carney.
"Nobody touched you (Patrick) or 'bullied' you," Jack White said. He added, "You (Patrick) were asked a question you couldn't answer so you walked away. So quit whining to the Internet and speak face to face like a human being. End of story."
The Guardian reported that Jack's antipathy towards the "Grammy Winning" rock duo became apparent in 2013. Around that time, a few emails concerning his divorce from Karen Elson had been leaked, the reporters said.
Reports suggested that the emails contained a few unflattering reference to "The Black Keys." Apparently, White wasn't too happy about sending his kid to the same school as that of "The Black Keys" Dan Auerbach's child.
Recently, "The Black Keys" drummer Patrick Carney deleted all his tweets about Jack and posted a make-up tweet. "Talked to jack for an hour he's cool," Patrick tweeted. He also wrote that everything was now "good" between the two rockstars.
