"Suicide Squad" is expected to boost Margot Robbie's Hollywood career as many fans are anticipating her portrayal of super villain Harley Quinn.

But it seems that Margot Robbie's popularity has reached its new high even before "Suicide Squad" has been released.

According to a report, the Australian-born actress was allegedly mobbed by fans at the Los Angeles International Airport upon her arrival from New York.

The Harley Quinn actress purportedly tried to go unnoticed to no avail.

"The actress went from making a stylish exit to needing an escape plan as the waiting crowds surged forward as she attempted to slip past," Daily Mail reported.

"At first it appeared to be controlled pandemonium, but as soon as Margot paused briefly to sign an awaiting fans autograph, everyone wanted to get closer to the Australian star," the report continued. "Dozens of fans and photographers surged forward trying to snatch a snap their own shot with Margot."

Good thing the "Suicide Squad" star didn't appear to be hurt amid the "pandemonium" at the airport.

It is undeniable that Margot Robbie has gone a long way since her role in "The Wolf of Wall Street," where she first gained prominence in Hollywood.

In a recent interview, the 25-year-old Harley Quinn actress admitted that building a Hollywood career is far from easy especially since she has to be far away from her home in the land down under.

"You miss your friend's baby being born, you miss everyone's wedding, you miss everyone's birthdays, and seeing your nephew grow up," Margot Robbie said in an interview with The Guardian.

Does that mean that the "Suicide Squad" actress had enough of Hollywood and that she'd rather go home to Australia?

"So far, the pros outweigh the cons with my job," the actress continued. "And so as long as that remains the case, I'll keep doing what I'm doing. But it definitely sucks."

Margot Robbie's portrayal of Harley Quinn will be seen in "Suicide Squad" set to hit theaters next year.
