A Taylor Swift "Law and Order: SVU" episode could soon be a reality.

The Christian Post reported that crime-drama "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" was one of Taylor Swift's favorite shows. Reports said that the "Bad Blood" singer had named one of her cats after a character on the show, Manhattan Police Sergeant "Olivia Benson."

Apart from naming one of her cats after "Olivia Benson," the "Love Story" star Taylor Swift had even invited Mariska Hargitay, the actress who plays Sergeant Olivia Benson to become a part of her girl gang.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mariska told that Taylor had been roped in to do a cameo role in a Taylor Swift "Law and Order: SVU" episode.

"We just talked about it (guest appearance of Taylor Swift on "Law and Order: SVU" episode)," Hargitay told the reporters. She added, "We're going to wait until the end of the (Swift's 1989 World) tour to see how it goes. But it's in the air."

However, Taylor Swift's "Law and Order: SVU" episode would not be her first stint at acting for a TV show. According to The Christian Post, "Red" singer had played a rebellious teen in an episode of CSI in 2009. Reports said that Taylor had even lent her voice to the character of Audrey in "The Lorax" in 2012. Swift had even acted in an episode of "The New Girl" in 2013.

The Taylor Swift "Law and Order: SVU" episode has not yet been officially announced. The fans would have to wait for Mariska Hargitay and Taylor Swift's TV collaboration.

But, the rumors around the Taylor Swift "Law and Order: SVU" episode haven't kept her from joking about naming a squad room cat as "Taylor."

Zap2It reported that a Taylor Swift "Law and Order: SVU" episode had been proposed by "SVU's" casting director, Jonathan Strauss, a short while after Taylor had introduced her cat Olivia over the social media.

Reports said that the casting director tweeted the "Red" singer to ask if she'd be interested in guest staring on a Taylor Swift "Law and Order: SVU" episode.
