Second Republican Debate: Leaves Tom Hanks, Patton Oswalt Confused, Donald Trump Fails to Make His Mark

US comedian Patton Oswalt, Emma Watson and Tom Hanks, the three stars were watching the Second Republican debate while on the sets of The Circle, the anticipated film adaptation of Dave Eggers' dystopian novel of the same name, reported The Telegraph UK. Patton Oswalt posted a photo to Twitter from the set of The Circle in which he, Tom Hanks, and Emma Watson were "very confused" by the debate, said the GQ.

The first presidential republican debate had already been a disaster which had led to anticipations run high for the Second Republican debate. The ad prices had sky-rocketed to all time high, said Vox.the three hour debate for grueling enough when candidates discussed medical marijuana at length and marginally had an intelligent discussion on tax and policies, reported Vox. The anchors forced eleven candidates to address each other directly but there were just too many people on board.

Republican presidential candidate, businessman Donald Trump spoke at length during the CNN second republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. Carly Fiorina again walked away with the GOP debate as she was a well-informed, composed and sure-footed on stage. She even won some contentious spats with Donald Trump. She had some valid points to make defending her tenure at Hewlett-Packard. She also argued in favor of a small government and stronger military, said Fox News.

Some other candidates who made their mark were Jeb Bush, Chris Christie and Ted Cruz, said Fox News. Donald Trump failed to make his mark and his valiant efforts at the moderators went futile. He had promised to tone down his aggressive stance and insults but he immediately pounced on Rand Paul for having being even on stage. Paul retaliated by calling Trump's aggression as 'sophomoric' which Trump could not resist and ended up being more nasty to Paul, said Fox News.
