The 67th Annual Emmy Awards are scheduled on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 8 PM EST on Fox, reported Vox.com.Andy Samberg of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Saturday Nine Live fame will be hosting the show. There are enough pre-coverage as well wherein viewers can watch all backstage activities on E! Countdown to the Red Carpet starting at 4:30 pm EST. Coverage on Emmy's website will start at 6 pm EST on Sunday.
As TV's one of the biggest award show inches closer to the showdown, predictions and speculations are rife with biggest guessing games move into high gear. Two of the Associated Press TV critics offer their 'sure-of-themselves' predictions before the show, reported LexGo.
According to LexGo, Associated Press's Lynn Elber's and Frazier Moore's picks are already released with both of them having several common picks but share their difference of choices as well. Lynne Elber predicts for Mad Men to win for Series but is more confident for the Game of Thrones. Frazier Moore's choices are for The Americans and Mad Men.
Lynne Elbers casts his vote for Transparent and Veep for Best Comedy series while Moore opted for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Modern Family. Both critics favored Jon Hamm as unanimous choice for Best Actor Drama Series for Mad Men and Taraji P. Henson for Best Actress Drama Series for Empire. However, their choices are not unanimous and they have put their bets on Viola Davis, How to Get Away With Murder and Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black.
For the Comedy Series choices, both critics once again voted unanimously for Jeffery Tambor, Transparent for Best Actor in Comedy Series but shared their choices for the Best Actress in Comedy Series as Lily Tomlin from Grace and Frankie, Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep, and Amy Schumer for Inside Amy Schumer.
