Clara and Polaris Entertainment reached a settlement, concluding their 10-month legal battle.
On September 21, TV Report published an article that highlighted the end of the alleged legal dispute, involving the 30-year-old actress and her former agency.
According to the report, Clara and the agency reached a settlement prior to a court hearing that was scheduled for September 21.
"The two sides have amicably agreed to part ways and end communication with one another," said a representative for the Seoul's High Prosecutors Office, in a statement published by TV Report.
With this settlement, Clara will no longer be represented by Polaris Entertainment. Her alleged legal woes with the agency began in December 2014 when she allegedly filed a lawsuit to terminate her exclusive contract with the company.
The actress alleged sexual harassment by president Lee Kyu Tae. Polaris refuted the claims and alleged that the star was blackmailing the executive, in order to be removed from her contract which was previously scheduled to expire in 2018.
In July 2015, Clara was cleared from blackmailing charges.
Clara is best known for her roles in dramas like "Baby Faced Beauty" and "Goddess of Marriage." Prior to her legal woes, she received positive attention for her portrayal of medical intern Han Ah Reum in 'Emergency Couple."
In 2015, she led the cast of the racy film, "Casa Amour: Exclusive for Ladies." However, promotional activities for the movie were marred by headlines surrounding her alleged legal proceedings.
