Demi Lovato's "Confident" released on September 17 and it climbed up to the number one spot on the Billboard plus Twitter Trending 140 chart.
Hours after release, Lovato's album "Confident" skyrocketed to the top position in Billboard plus Twitter Trending 140 chart and remained among top 10 through the weekend. The track is second in the row to top the chart this month for Lovato's after "Cool for The Summer," out on September 1. As a result of "Cool for The Summers'" performance in MTV Video Music Awards, the track reached the audience so well that it hit the bull's-eye.
Lovato performed her track "Confident" in Pete Wentz's Beats 1 show for the first time which was followed by a brief interview that included the song's reveal, according to Billboard. Lovato's new album with the recently released title track is expected to be out on October 16.
Demi Lovato Not Bothered About Having Attitude
Lovato told Billboard magazine that she is not afraid of having attitude as far as this album is concerned. She also hinted that the album is going to be like "'Really Don't Care' x 100." "I'm not afraid to have attitude on this album and just be able to say what I want, speak what I want - that's really what I'm most proud of on this album is kind of not caring what anyone else thinks. Just making music for me" said Lovato according to Sugarspace.
Demi Lovato Hopes To Empower Woman
Lovato on the other hand is very confident that the upcoming album would empower women. She noted that she has always wanted to give music that will inspire everyone but she is concerned about empowering women which she is hopeful in achieving through this album.
"I always try to send kind of an inspirational music to everybody but I also really want to empower women. I think that with this album, hopefully it will empower women," noted Lovato.
