Heavily armed policemen took over an apartment block at city of Sparks, Nevada at around 6:30 a.m. after receiving a call from a woman reporting of a murder, according to Mirror. An unnamed woman has reportedly notified the Reno police of the incident that happened at 2300 block of Escalera Court in northwest Reno. The policemen tracked the "Ghost Adventures" lady's mobile phone and located her inside an apartment in Sparks with her estranged husband. As soon as the officers arrived at the spot they heard gun shots fired and a man's voice threatening to kill a woman. The situation is said to have become more intense as the policemen started negotiating with the man.
Brian Miller of Sparks Police Department said that "Negotiators were on the phone with him for a significant portion of that time from the original shots being fired to currently. Obviously the major focus of that conversation was for everyone to come out and for this to end peacefully and for nobody to get hurt."
The negotiations continued for hours while the nearby school children were kept in standoff till then. Around 1:30 p.m. the cops reportedly heard loud bangs from the apartment in the wake of which they broke into the house and found the "Ghost Adventures" couple dead.
"There were shots fired inside the apartment, the SWAT team's plan to make entry was applied at that time and two people were found inside the apartment," said Miller.
Mark Constantino reportedly had couple of runs-in with the law lately and the couple also has had a long history of domestic violence.
