Taylor Swift donates to charity with the same kind of enthusiasm she has on stage and this time she donated $50,000 to a toddler diagnosed with cancer. The "Bad Blood" singer's mother was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
Swift who made a donation of $50,000 earlier this year to a girl suffering from leukemia has again reached her hand out to help Ayden, who is the newphew of Swift's backup dancers, Kim "Toshi" Davidson. Davidson performed on Swift's 1989 World Tour. Her 13-month-old nephew Ayden was diagnosed of cancer recently, according to People.
Taylor Swift Donates Generously
Toshi Davidson and his family have set up a Go Fund Me account to raise fund for the toddler's treatment with an initial goal of $20,000. Swift's generous donation has helped the fund to surpass its initial target.
"Baby Ayden, I'm lucky enough to perform with your uncle Toshi on tour," Swift wrote on baby Ayden's Go Fund Me page, according to People magazine. "All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way. Love, Taylor," she added.
Toshi Davidson Calls Taylor Swift An Angel And An Incredible Human Being
Toshi Davidson initially posted a photo of him with his nephew on Instagram requesting users to pray for his nephew, reported Entertainment Weekly. He has also shared the Go Fund Me account details on the post. Toshi Davidson did not expect Swift to donate the kind of money she shelled out. So, he took Instagram to thank Swift. He also noted that she is an angel.
"So I get off the plane in Toronto and this is the 1st thing I see... @taylor swift is an angel and [my] family and I can't thank her enough... She is such an incredible human being... This will help Lil Toshi in this time of need... Let's pray for him to beat this... This unexpected gift is truly a blessing..." wrote Toshi Davidson in the post, Entertainment Weekly said.
