It is widely rumoured that Sophie Turner could be Brianna in the upcoming "Outlander" Season 2.

Sam Hueghan reposted Anglophile Channel's message that read: "If she was not so busy with #GameOfThrones, would Sophie Turner make a good #BriannaFraser? She is so striking!" according to Reality Today.

Turner plays Sansa Stark, Stark's oldest daughter in the renowned HBO series "Game of Thrones" which is a television adaptation of George R.R. Martin's famous book series. Meanwhile, Outlander is also a TV adaptation of book series by Diana Gabaldon and the "Outlander" Season 2 will be based on "Dragonfly in Amber."

One of the main "Outlander" season 2 casts, Caitriona Balfe who played Claire Randall in the series said in the press meet during 2015 San Diego Comic-Con International that "I think Claire has to put aside some of her own issues at the moment to help him [Jamie Fraser] get past what has happened and heal." Balfe also added that "Part of that is giving him a mission. Giving him something to focus on that is not looking back on what had happened," according to Youth Health.

Following Fraser's rape incident that is revealed in the last episode of "Outlander" season 1, the lead characters are likely to be emotionally disturbed at season 2. Randall who is pregnant with Fraser's child will be having tough time dealing with Fraser and herself.

"They are struggling with their own issues," said Balfe on the Frass and Randall. Maybe, privately, there is a bit of a gulf between them. But, ultimately, they are there for each other. They are working to try and help each other. Getting past adversity will make you stronger. I think that is the beautiful thing about this."
