Perrie Edwards' engagement ring will remain with her and will not be returned to her ex-fiancé Zyan Malik, confirmed a source close to the star.

Edwards will not be giving back her engagement ring to Malik since she feels the former "One Direction" star doesn't deserve it. Malik announced their split in July 2015 which reportedly devastated the "Little Mix" singer who is not going to part with the ring at any cost, according to Hollywood Life.

The source also noted that Edwards is not retaining the ring for any sentimental reasons. She will not give it back only because she is crushed and dejected about the way Malik called off their relationship.

"Perrie still has the ring and plans on keeping it and not for sentimental reasons," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "She feels like Zayn doesn't deserve to get it back, not after the way he treated her and the way he broke up with her. There's absolutely no way in hell she's giving that ring back."

The duo met on "X-factors" in December 2011 for the first time. They started dating then and got engaged in 2013. The couple were planning to get married in June, 2015 however Malik announced their split in July. Malik is said to have confirmed their split to the "Little Mix" singer through a text message, which bothered her a great deal.

"The photo just confirms everything she already thinks about Zayn. 'Heartless' is the first word that came to Perrie's mind when she saw it. She thinks Zayn has stooped to an all new low by making such a public to do about this girl," noted an insider about Edwards' reaction to Malik's topless Instagram photo with Carlyn Bryan.

"She wants to tell the girl, 'You can have him'! Perrie isn't wasting any more tears on this guy. Plus, she thinks he's just trying to make her jealous because he knows she has moved on," added the source, reported KDrama stars.
