When singers Se7en and Mighty Mouth's Sangchu were caught visiting an adult massage parlor a few weeks ago, it caused a scandal. The singers were supposed to be on military duty.

Fans wondered what would happen to the celebrity recruits but they also wondered how actress Park Han Byul would react. She and Se7en had been dating for 11 years, which makes them one of the longest standing couples in the Korean entertainment business. Were they still together after photographs of the incident hit the news? Would they break up?

Shortly after the incident the actress' home page was flooded with comments and not all of them were supportive. Many of the comments criticized her boyfriend, wondering how he could have cheated on someone so beautiful. They wished her strength. But other criticism was directed at her, asking why she did not treat him better, insinuating that she was somehow at fault for his desire to visit a massage parlor. Still other comments assumed they would break up. But sources close to the actress insist the two are still dating and have no intentions of parting.

The sources also said that the actress knew about the incident before it became public and that she never wavered in her support for him.

This week the actress attended a Chinese press conference for the film "Bunshinsaba 2" with director Ahn Byung Ki and actress Xin Zhi Lei. During the press conference reporters asked several questions about her boyfriend, referring to the scandal as the "Se7en massage parlor incident."
The mood in the press conference became tense when the actress refused to answer any questions relating to Se7en. Director Ahn Byung Ki defused the tension by asking reporters to only focus on the film.

Although Se7en and Park Han Byul were high school sweethearts they kept their relationship private and only admitted to dating four years ago.

"Everything became a lot more comfortable," said Park about their decision to go public. "I'm not good at lying so I was scared that people would ask when I went on interviews or talk shows. Now I'm more confident and at ease since I have nothing to hide."

The two said they had no plans to marry.

"It feels like something that won't happen until well into our future," said Park, who appeared in the dramas "Oh! My Lady" and "My Fair Lady." "Nothing can be guaranteed in a person's life, but I want to marry after I turn 30. I think he feels the same."

Both Se7en and Park Han Byul are 28 now. Only time will tell if the scandal strengthens or damages their relationship.
