Jo Jung Suk and Park Bo Young grew close while filming their drama "Oh My Ghostess." And given that they were both about to launch films, they were prepared to show up at each other's premieres. That was until they learned that the films were going to premiere the same day, October 22.

"We thought our movies would not be released together but it turns out they are," said Park Bo Young in an article on the Korean media outlet Nate News. "We both wish the best for each other. We will support each other's movies and hopefully we will both succeed."

Unfortunately, that means it will be difficult for them to attend each others' preview events.

Lee Chun Hee, Park Bo Young and Lee Kwang Soo showed up at the promotional events for her film "Collective Invention." The film tells the story of a young man named Park Goo, played by Lee Kwang Soo. Park Goo suffers the side effect of a new medicine. The medicine turns him into a fish. That transformation ironically makes him a star, although his life is imperiled when he becomes involved in a conspiracy to cover up the drug's side effects. Fortunately, his girlfriend, played by Park Bo Young, still loves him.

Jo Jung Suk's film is "Exclusive: The Ryangchen Murders." At a promotional event for the film, reported in the Korean media outlet OSEN, he spoke about the coincidence and what it meant to the co-stars.

"We exchanged text messages after we found out that 'Collective Invention' and 'Exclusive: The Ryangchen Murders" were going to be released on the same day. We said, 'Let's cheer each other a lot' and concluded that we would not be able to attend each other's preview events though. She would probably not be able to come to the VIP preview event."

He does want to support her.

"I am thinking I might attend the preview for "Collective Invention" tomorrow as a surprise visit," said Jo. "I am thinking I might attend the preview tomorrow as a surprise visit so news articles will say I am a big person."

In "Exclusive: The Ryangchen Murders" Jo Jung Suk plays reporter Heo Moo Hyuk. He accidentally acquires information about a serial murder case that somehow results in inaccurate reporting. His attempt to find the truth lands him in the middle of an aggressive news coverage competition about the murder case.
