The renowned Colombian soap star, Adriana Campos, passed away. She died in a dreadful car accident in Colombia on Tuesday. Campos was accompanied by her husband Carlos Rincón while driving southwest of Colombia's Department of Antioquia. The vehicle lost control and the car fell into the Cauca River.

In her 15 year-career, Campos had worked for key television networks of Colombia including RCN television and Caracol television. She had been nominated two times in TV Novelas Awards for Best Supporting Actress and Best Antagonist, according to People. Nomination for Best Supporting Actress was for her role in series 'Neighbors and Best Antagonist' was for her work on Bella calamities.

Campos's tragic accident happened on November 3rd at 6 a.m. local time. Rincón was reportedly driving the car when he lost control of the vehicle. Campos, 36 and her businessman husband Rincón got married in 2014 and are survived by their 1-year old son Geronimo Rincón Campos.

Adriana Campos Dies, Investigations Are Underway

Investigation on the death of Campos and her husband Rincón are carried out after the couple died in a car accident.Two theories are prevalent for the mishap. The first is that Rincón fell asleep while driving and the wheels got out of control and eventually fell into the river.

The second theory points to mechanical problems in the vehicle paving the way for the mishap. The cause of death of the couple is believed to be either drowning or severe fatal fractures.

The other theories widespread on the internet are that the couple did not engage in a car accident. Instead, they are victims of a planned murder. A Facebook user commented on their death "Accidents. No such thing as an accidents. Especially in Colombia."
