The "New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel is said to have converted to Judaism for her husband Jacob Pechenik.
The 35-year-old star who is born to a Quaker father and a Roman Catholic mother has allegedly decided to follow her husband, producer Pechenik's faith. A source in the know of the actress has confirmed that the actress converted to Judaism for her husband, according to The Hamilton Spectator.

"My family is liberal. I was raised in the 'you can be whatever you want' kind of way. And in the end, I was like, 'Eh.' I mean I'm interested in theology, and I love reading about it. But I don't attach myself to any one religion or other," said Deschanel earlier about her religious beliefs.

Pechenik and his beloved wife Deschanel that tied knot in June are proud parents of their three months old daughter Elsie Otter. Deschanel had disclosed lately about her daughter's bizarre name that it was an inspiration of their love for animals. The actress noted that the middle name came as a result of the couple's mutual love for sea otters and they believe that their daughter would grow up with the same kind of love for animals.
"We just really like the name Elsie, and then we both love otters. They're really sweet, they're also smart, they use tools to keep their favorite tools, they hold hands while they sleep. There's so many amazing things about otters. They're wonderful animals," noted the actress.
Meanwhile Deschanel who took Twitter to share about her experience with the infant said that she her lovely daughter is going to run for President since she remains silent for all the key issues. She also noted that her little one is cuter than Donald trump, reported Xpose.
