Adele gave an absolutely mind blowing performance on television for the first time after two years.

Adele performed her record breaking new single "Hello" on BBC Music two years after giving birth to her child. The 27-year-old singer who took the stage to give her emotional performance in a green sequin dress was last seen performing live during Academy Awards in 2013 where she won an Oscar for James Bond theme song "Skyfall," according to ET.

"It was that thing of, do I or don't I want to go back to my music," said Adele in her interview with Graham Norton on the BBC Music special. "Obviously I do, and I just wanted to make sure that everything was in place for me to do it so I could do it properly. I can't do anything else, this is all that I like doing," she added.

Adele "Hello" which released last week is a massive hit and had the biggest sales week after "Candle in the Wind," Elton John's Princess Diana Tribute, in 1997. The music video also created a new record of 27 million views in Vevo in the first 24 hours of its release.

The singer also admitted during the interview that she doesn't post her Twitter messages herself. Since she sent couple of tweets in booze back when Twitter emerged, her management had asked her not to post her tweets though she writes them herself.

"I'm not a drinker anymore, but when Twitter first came out, I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times," Adele said.

"So my management decided you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone. But they are all my tweets, no one writes my tweets, they just post them for me," she added.

If you missed Adele's live performance on "Adele At The BBC" show was broadcasted on BBC One on Friday November 20 at 8.30 p.m., reported BBC.
