Although Yoon Eun Hye has starred in a string of successful kdrama hits, she admits that she was nervous her first day on the set of "Marry Me If You Dare," which has also been called "Future's Choice."
"It's been such a long time since I was on a set that my heart was pounding," said Yoon Eun Hye. "I was trembling and I was nervous but even so I think my first day went well. The director and crew were good to me and they were so encouraging that after a while I felt like things began to go very well."
The actress was last seen on a drama set in late 2012 when she was filming "Missing You," with co-stars Park Yoo Chun and Yoo Seung Ho. But despite the long break, it did not take her long to get into character for her new role.
In "Marry Me If You Dare," she plays Na Mi Rae a call center worker who talks herself through difficult situations by assuring herself that everything is going well. But in reality she is just scraping by and her life is unfulfilling. One day her future self shows up and everything changes. Her future self pushes her to pursue her dream of becoming a TV writer.
With the curly hair and a slightly dazed expression she wears in the new drama's stills, it's easy to see that Yoon Eun Hye has already embraced her new role.
The actress has plenty of experience getting into character, as she has played a variety of roles. She was a girl pretending to be a boy in "Coffee Prince," an unexpected princess in "Princess Hours," a charming liar in "Lie To Me, a female chaebol in "My Fair Lady" and Lee Min Ho's ex-girlfriend in "Personal Taste."
One of Yoon's co-stars in "Marry Me If You Dare" is Lee Dong Gun. He plays Kim Shin, a principled TV news anchor. Lee Dong Gun has not been in a drama for five years although he is well known for his work in "Sweet 18" and "Lovers in Paris."
Her other co-star is CNBlue's Jung Yong Hwa, who appeared in "Heartstrings" and "You're Beautiful." Jung plays Park Se Joo. As the CEO's grandson, he is due to inherit the network but meanwhile he is pretending to be a cameraman.
Han Chae Ah plays Seo Yoo Kyung, a smart morning show reporter. Yoon's future self is played by Choi Myung Gil.
The show will air Mondays and Tuesdays, starting Oct. 14.
