Lee Bo Young will leave her agency Will Entertainment when her contract expires at the end of December.
The agency currently represents such actors as Jin Yi Han, Choi Kang Hee and Kang So Ra.
Instead she will join a new agency named Fly Up Entertainment. Lee has been loyal to Will Entertainment for several years but when one of the company's employees started a new entertainment agency, Lee decided it was time for a change.
Fly Up Entertainment represents Kim Ji Hoon, last seen in "Jang Bo Ri Is Here," Ryu Soo Young, last seen in "The Eccentric Daughter-in-Law, Yoo In Young, who currently appears in "Oh My Venus," Kim Sung Oh, who appeared in "Warm and Cozy" and Wang Bit Na, who appeared in "Cunning Single Lady."
Except for a cameo in "Pinocchio," Lee has not worked on a drama since the 2014 fantasy thriller "God's Gift - 14 Days." She took some time off to spend with her husband Ji Sung and the couple's first child, a daughter was born in June 2015.
Lee began her entertainment career in 2000 by winning a Miss Korea pageant. She appeared in several dramas and a few films before appearing in "the family My Daughter Seo Young," which some critics described as a breakthrough role for the actress. It was the biggest hit of her career, earning a record high of 47.6 percent in the ratings.
After that she appeared in the hit drama "I Hear Your Voice" with Lee Jong Suk and Yoon Sang Hyun. Her appearance in "I Hear Your Voice" won her the Daesang or Grand Prize at the SBS Drama Awards.
The actress is currently taking a break from acting to spend time with her daughter, but according to her new agency she hopes to return in a project soon.
