"Oh My Venus" continues to draw in new viewers, as the series begins to pursue its core message of empowerment through self-improvement.

According to statistics released by Nielsen Korea, the third episode of "Oh My Venus" recorded 8.4 percent in nationwide viewership. This was an increase of 0.2 percent from its previous episode.

The November 23 episode of "Oh My Venus" opened with Kang Joo Eun (Shin Min Ah), as she attempted to identify the elusive personal trainer John Kim. She fantasizes about an appearance on international television, where she will reveal her newly restored body to the dismay of her ex-boyfriend, Im Woo Sik (Jung Gyu Woon) and his new crush, Oh Soo Jin (Yoo In Young), a girl who used to be overweight in college.

Joo Eun mistakenly assumes that manager Kim Ji Woong (Super Junior-M's Henry Lau) was the Hollywood trainer while the real John Kim or Kim Young Ho (So Ji Sub) looks on with his protegee, Jang Joon Sung (Sung Hoon).

While Young Ho may have denied her wish to undergo a rigorous physical makeover through intense exercise, the trio agrees to participate in her attempt to return to her former appearance, with Ji Woong assuming the identity of John Kim.

Once she is in the gym with the gang of physically fit men, Joo Eun grows self-conscious and realizes her quest for weight loss will not be as effortless as she assumed.

Her plight is one that is experienced by many men and women, throughout the world, as she pushes herself beyond her limits in a last ditch effort to regain her former flame.

"Oh My Venus" is centered on a theme where Young Ho repeatedly acts as the savior and would-be prince charming of Joo Eun. The episode concludes with him revealing that he is John Kim and is willing to help her with her quest to lose weight, as long as it is done in a proper manner.

The period drama, "Six Flying Dragons," continues to appeal to viewers. The 50-episode SBS drama recorded 14.6 percent of nationwide audiences, who tuned in for its 15th episode, which was an increase of 1.4 percent from its 14th episode.

Meanwhile, the MBC family drama, "Glorious Temptation, recorded 7.8 percent in viewership.
