"Oh My Venus" continues to approach double-digit ratings, as the love line of Shin Min Ah and So Ji Sub continues to develop. According to statistics issued by Nielsen Korea, the KBS2 series recorded 9.4 percent in nationwide viewership for its eighth episode. This was an increase of 1.2 percent from the previous episode.

Episode eight opened with Kang Joo Eun (Shin Min Ah) discovering the truth behind the identity of her personal trainer-turned-romantic interest, Kim Young Ho (So Ji Sub). While she was aware that he was concealing his persona as John Kim, a top Hollywood trainer, from the general public, she did not realize that he was also the successor to the medical division of a top conglomerate.

Joo Eun initially rebuffs Young Ho for deceiving her and is embarrassed to have learned the truth of his pedigree, during a legal briefing. She berates herself for believing that they could have a stable relationship and Young Ho becomes despondent by her reaction.

However, their intrepid romance blossoms when Young Ho visits her childhood home in Daegu, after imploring the teen beauty-turned-attorney to accept his apology. Her willingness to return to him culminates with several cute moments, but the episode is punctuated by her discovery of his debilitated knee, which is the result of a childhood disease.

The drama also explored the fractured interaction between Oh Soo Jin (Yoo In Young) and Joo Eun, as Soo Jin becomes increasingly jealous of her perceived rival. She continues to harbor ill-will towards her former law school classmate and is despondent when she also realizes that Joo Eun is romantically involved with Young Ho, whose attractiveness increases exponentially as a handsome conglomerate heir.

"Six Flying Dragons" continues to yield high ratings. The SBS period drama recorded 13.4 percent, as viewers continue to remain with the series through its long-running progress.

Meanwhile, the MBC family melodrama, "Glamorous Temptation," a series which is also known as "Brilliant Seduction," recorded 8 percent.
