Lee Joon shared a unique offer for getting more audience for his recently released movie, "Rough Play," in Seoul CGV theater last Thursday.
When asked, do you have an offer to reward the audience when the movie passes the break-even point, Lee Joon said, "In fact, I don't know if I need to make an offer for how many millions of audiences." He later said, "The break-even point for 'An Actor is an Actor' is 65 million.
Lee Joon said, "Regardless of how many people watch the movie, they are all taking their precious time to get the ticket. I feel like buying lunch to every and each one of them."
Lee Joon said, "In a recent radio interview, if 100 or 150 million watch the movie, I said I will shout in front of the status of the general Lee Soon Shin in Gwang Hwa Moon. But, I feel like I could do anything to help the movie do well."
Director Shin Yeon Sik, who received the same question, said, "I would do anything, but I dont think people will like it even when I sing or dance. I'll do some research," making everybody at the scene laugh.
"Rough Play" is a movie about an actor who becomes a star from one movie but falling hard onto the ground. It garnered much attention because the script was written by a renowned movie director Kim Ki Duk.
