Miss A's Suzy and EXO's Baekhyun are a wondrous pair on the pop ballad, "Dream." The single, which was released at midnight on January 7, immediately topped digital charts and its accompanying video received more than 1.1 million YouTube views in less than 24 hours.

"Dream" sparked interest as a cross-agency release which reflects the unique musicality of SM and JYP Entertainment.

The track is romantically cloying and is punctuated by the effortless synchronicity of their voices.

While Suzy and Baekhyun continue to maintain strong fan bases with K-pop enthusiasts, the acting idols will appeal to K-Drama audiences as cast members of two of the most-anticipated series of 2016.

Suzy will opposite Kim Woo Bin in the KBS2 romantic comedy, "Uncontrollably Fond." Suzy is No Eul, an economically disadvantaged documentarian with low self-esteem, who has a life-changing encounter with Shin Joon Young, a top acting idol portrayed by Kim Woo Bin, in his first drama role since the 2013 teen hit, "The Heirs."

Baekhyun recently confirmed his appearance in "Moon Lovers," the Korean adaptation of the popular Chinese drama, "Bu Bu Jing Xin." The series, which is also referred to by the title, "Scarlet Heart: Goryo" features one of the most visually titillating male casts to hit airwaves since the "Flower Boy" series.

In his first substantial role since "EXO Next Door," Baekhyun portrays Wang Eun, the tenth imperial prince. Lee Joon Gi (Scholar Who Walks the Night) leads the handsome cast, which includes Ji Soo (Sassy Go Go), Kang Ha Neul (Twenty), and Nam Joo Hyuk (Who Are You: School 2015).

While it is customary for Korean dramas to air through a live-taping process which allows audiences to influence the progress of a series through internet feedback, both "Moon Lovers" and "Uncontrollably Fond" will continue the post-production trend that has been set by the upcoming action series, "Descendants of the Sun."

Meanwhile, EXO dominated digital charts in December 2015 by ranking first place on Gaon, Yes24, and Hanteo with their winter album, "Sing for You."
