Actors who have a crush on actress Song Ji Hyo, are out of luck. The star of the dramas "Emergency Couple" and "The Ex-Girlfriend's Club" and the film "A Frozen Flower" says she has no interest in dating an actor. Not sure of that includes her "Running Man" co-star Gary Kang, who sometimes acts but is basically a singer and variety show regular. Together they have been dubbed the variety show's "Monday Couple."

Song made the comment about her dating choices when she was interviewed about her upcoming appearances on the Chinese version of "We Got Married."

She said it will be fun to date like other people, even if it is only on a variety show.

"Because of my role as a public figure I have never been on a proper date," said Song at a Chinese press conference for the program. "Doing something public with someone I am dating feels wrong. So, on this show, I want to pretend I am normal and go on regular dates."

The show pairs Song with popular Chinese actor Chen Bolin, who will make an appearance in the k-drama "Monster - 2016."

While she has never dated a foreigner, she sees no issue with their different nationalities.

"As long as we get along and understand each other, I don't see a problem with our being from different countries," she said.

Nor does she see a problem with the age difference. Chen Bolin is 32. Song Ji Hyo is 36.

"Age is just a number."

The actress would like to settle down.

"I was in France recently and it was cold. I felt lonely because it was cold and at the thought of being single for so long. As a matter of principle, I will never date someone who has the same career I do. However, everyone I meet is in this business, so I may not have a choice."

Song has been single since July 2015 when she confirmed that she broke up with Baek Chang Joo, the CEO of C-JeS Entertainment. They ended their relationship after dating for two years.

Will Chen Bolin change her mind about dating an actor? That remains to be seen.

The Chinese version of "We Got Married" airs in China at the end of February.
