MBLAQ's Lee Joon has been considering a role in the film "Botox" since August and now that promotions for his film, "An Actor Is An Actor," are wrapping up, he has confirmed that he will star in the film.

In "An Actor Is An Actor," he played Oh Young, an actor who becomes a success overnight and then hits rock bottom. The dark side of his glittering new world is a dangerous one. In "Botox," he will play a romantic young man.

Back in August, both he and actress Kim Hee Sun were considering playing the leading roles in "Botox" but Kim Hee Sun is no longer up for a leading role and has been replaced by actress Park Jin Hee.

"Botox" is a story about a woman in her 40s and the 21-year-old who falls in love with her. It's not the first time that Park, 35, has played an older woman who falls in love with a younger man. In the drama "The Woman Who Wants To Marry," she romanced the 11-year-younger actor Kim Bum. Much of that drama focused on how the couple overcame the romantic challenges caused by their age difference.

In "Botox," Park Jin Hee will play Young Sook, a 42-year-old aspiring writer who gets a love confession from a Gun Ni, a 21-year-old. Lee Joon, 25, plays Gun Ni, who is completely devoted to Young Sook. Park Jin Hee's character has to struggle with this confession. Until Gun Ni made it, she only thought of him as a child but now she must consider him in a new light, as a man.

Gun Ni on the other hand, did not think that carefully about his confession or the possible repercussions it might have, but only acted with his heart.

The film, which will be produced by Studio East, is expected to hit theaters next year. It is based on the web comic "Botox," which is written by romance comic author and illustrator Hwang Mina. The comic has run on Naver's web comic zone since 2009. "Botox" was first popular with teens and young adults but has since attracted a devoted older audience. Hwang Mina will adapt the comic to the screenplay format. The film will also serve as her directorial debut.

Park Hin Jee recently finished playing Ye Jin in the 120-part epic historic drama "Heo Jun, the Original Story."

Filming for "Botox" will begin in November.
